LSX Engine Assemblies Hit the Market

TRACK-READY AND BUILT WITH LSX EXTREME-PERFORMANCE PARTS.

When you're looking to install a crate engine that's as much at home on the drag strip as it is on the street, you want the toughest of tough parts. That's what you get from GM Performance Parts' new LSX376 and LSX454 crate engines.

LSX376 - Boost on a budget! That's what you get with the new LSX376. GM has redesigned the value-driven LSX376 engine with new, lower-compression, forged aluminum pistons that make this affordable performer the perfect boost-ready foundation for your car.

LSX454 - One of the most legendary engines in muscle-car history is the Chevy 454 Big-Block. However, this is no big block—it's a new generation of small block that is redefining what streetable horsepower is all about. With the LSX Bowtie block, GM Performance Parts engineers were able to build a 21st century 454 that's capable of more than 600 horsepower. Plus, the LSX454 requires no more space under the hood than a production LS engine. It's perfect as the power plant for a late-model Camaro drag car or a high-tech retro-fit for a '70 Chevelle pro-touring machine.

No matter which LSX crate engine you choose, it can deliver the strength and power you can depend on to win.

See more info about the LSX376 here and more info about the LSX454 here.

GM Performance Parts Launches New E-ROD Crate Engine System

GM Performance Parts recently announced the E-ROD Crate Engine System geared towards Hot Rod builders.  The E-ROD Crate Engines are designed to not only be the latest and greatest in GM OE power but to start, idle, rev, and get great fuel mileage.  They are also emissions legal including being approved by the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

Why E-ROD?

So, why is a high-performance, emissions-legal system important?  Answers range from "because it's the law" to "because it's the right thing to do for our environment".  Your answer may be somewhere in between but the E-ROD Crate Engines are sure to suit your application.

With the new E-ROD Crate Engine packages, hot rodding now comes with a smaller carbon footprint, but the same thrilling feel of high performance.  Add it to your favorite classic or kit car and build a new-generation Hot Rod for the 21st century!

The first package available is an LS3 Auto Trans version - part number 19244805.
